LIGER BIOCONCEPT, PRODEVAL and E-PANGO are pleased to announce the strategic agreement to deploy the Karrgreen network across France.

The Karrgreen network aims to install more than 150 BIOGNV distribution stations within 4 years.

The stations will distribute biognv from the methanization sector with direct relations from producers to consumers intended primarily for heavy goods vehicles, cars, buses, and other road transport to allow logistics with zero CO2 emissions and a reduction of + 90% NOx.

These stations will also have electric charging stations for electric vehicles and their own technology ensuring that 100% of the stations' electricity, both for compressor and battery power, will be green energy with certificate of guaranteed origin and locally produced energy.

The library of Locminé (56) will produce and store its own electricity. But it will go even further by relying on innovative technology, a premiere in France, in order to divide its electricity bill by two.

Joël Nicol, general director of the services of the town hall:

"Next to the building, we will install photovoltaic modules on a shade-type structure. The electricity produced will either be consumed or stored in batteries for use during peak periods."

Batteries that can also be powered by the power grid during the cheapest hours on the market (spot) of electricity.

"The major innovation of this unique project in France today is the integration of a computer tool composed of a smart energy-road box, which will be directly linked to the energy exchange. With this new technology, our supplier, in direct connection with the electricity market - which evolves over the minutes - will be able to financially valorize the flexibility of the building by allowing it to disappear during hours of high energy demand."

In other words, the library will consume the electricity produced locally when prices climb (peaks) on the market and can get supplies on the general network when they are very low.

This is how the municipality of Locminé hopes to save money thanks to the technology developed by E-PANGO SAS!

LIGER is committed to taking the energy and climate issue at the local level with "arm's length". For our production site, in 2017 we chose e-PANGO as the electricity supplier for their radically disruptive approach. We quickly saw impressive results on our electricity bill without any investment on our part, without impacting our processes or the work of our employees. Radically innovative, this company keeps its promises in terms of both the proposed support and anticipated results. Made up of a team of specialists, e-Pango also responds to the energy and network issues of Brittany.

Marc Lemercier Managing Director of Liger.
